Geeta Jayanthi
This is an annual 18-day Geeta Yagya celebration of the Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta that was initiated by His Holiness Shri 1008 Swami Hari Harji Maharaj in 1993.
During these 18-days, a Chapter of the Bhagavad Geeta is recited each day with the Chapter 18 being recited on Geeta Jayanthi day itself. Commentaries on the respective Chapters of Bhagavad Geeta are also given.
On Geeta Jayanthi day, a sampurna Geeta Havan is conducted with the recitation of the entire Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta followed by the distribution of prashad and preeti bhojan.
